Celebrate Arkona’s 150th with a Full Weekend of Fun, Music, and Community Spirit!

Arkona is turning 150, and everyone is invited to join in for a special three-day celebration from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14, 2026.


The weekend will kick off on Friday evening at Utter Park with food trucks, vendors, the official Opening Ceremony, live music, and baseball on the ball diamond.


Visitors can enjoy performances from the Forest Excelsior Band, Second Wind, and Brothers Wilde while taking in the festive atmosphere. The celebration continues in full on Saturday, June 13 with activities happening throughout the community all day long.


Highlights include the Quilt Show at Arkona Baptist Church, historic displays at the Arkona Community Centre, the Utter Barn, Rock Glen Conservation Area, food trucks, vendors, a cornhole tournament, the community parade, children’s activities, live music, rifle demonstrations, wine tasting, line dancing, and much more. Musical performances throughout the day and evening will keep the celebration going at Utter Park.



The weekend wraps up on Sunday, June 14, with a Fireman’s Breakfast at the Firehall from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., along with live music from Con Artists.

Arkona’s 150th celebration promises to be a memorable weekend filled with heritage, entertainment, food, and family fun. Be sure to mark your calendars and come celebrate this important milestone with friends, neighbours, and visitors from near and far.
