The flush of excitement a newly engaged couple experiences is full of the anticipation of a beautiful new horizon for their life together, waiting just around the corner. As the blushing bride-to-be slowly gets used to a shiny new ring on her left hand, and as together they adjust to the thrilling new word ‘fiancé,’ the magical glow of this time is like no other. This is the special time so many little girls grow up dreaming of – envisioning themselves as princesses dressed in beautiful gowns, dancing the night away at their fairy-tale weddings no one will ever forget.
Along with the many joys of engagement, preparing for the big day that will mark the first step into a couple’s shared future can also feel overwhelming, and even slightly intimidating. After all, there are so many things to plan: the dress, the cake, the reception, the DJ, the flowers and the tuxedos; this daunting list of things to arrange can easily threaten to steal away some of the tranquility and peacefulness so hoped for when preparing for marriage. A seemingly endless list of choices can make it difficult to even know where to begin, and this is precisely what the Strathroy Bridal Expo is designed to help couples with.
The 2026 Strathroy Bridal Expo’s hosts wholeheartedly believe that engagement, although busy and full of preparations, should not be an occasion to sacrifice one’s peace and sanity, but instead to enter into the true depth of the joy of preparing to say “I do.” With that in mind, the Strathroy Bridal Expo was created to provide help and support to local brides-to-be in the growing Strathroy area as they navigate all the many decisions that arise when wedding planning. Now in its second year, this event promises to blend charming, inviting small-town charisma with local hand-selected professionals in the wedding industry. For 2026, this event will continue to grow, featuring both community connection and a dazzling array of everything a couple could wish for to help plan the wedding of their dreams.
On February 28, 2026, from 9am to 3pm, the second annual Strathroy Bridal Expo will provide a stunning selection of more than 30 different curated local wedding vendor services, with specialties across the wedding industry, all under one roof.
More specifically, this rain-or-shine event will take place under the gorgeous roof of this year’s venue: Willow Tree Golf Event Centre, 571 Metcalfe Street East, Strathroy. This venue is truly something that needs to be seen to be believed – its expansive, lush green spaces, combined with the beautiful banquet hall and its exposed beams, as well as breathtaking lighting, are like something out of a dream. This event centre is an absolute must-visit for brides-to-be, and the venue will be hosting complimentary tours of their space throughout the duration of the event.
In addition to the stunning event space itself, the 2026 Strathroy Bridal Expo will also be presenting many limited-time opportunities and unique attractions for brides-to-be, engaged couples and wedding parties from Strathroy and the surrounding areas. One of the event’s main attractions will be a gorgeous runway show at 11:30am, where guests will have the opportunity to admire all the latest fashions by one of the event’s sponsors, Jess & Co Bridal. In addition, the expo will feature thrilling exclusives such as vendor specials, giveaways and raffles throughout the day and even a special grand prize draw. These opportunities are not to be missed – guests will have access to a selection of exclusive draws and offers, courtesy of the wide variety of vendors set to attend. Last year’s event was a smash hit, with more than 30 vendors and more than 400 advance ticket sales, plus many more at the door on the day of the event.
